AP Exam Information 2026-2027/Dates Coming Soon

The College Board's Advanced Placement Program® (AP) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. The program consists of college-level courses developed by the AP Program that high schools can choose to offer, and corresponding exams that are administered once a year.  UPA has made AP a cornerstone of our program, as it prepares and rewards students for the work on college-level curriculum.

Please read all the following sections carefully. This information has been assembled for your benefit and posted in multiple places. While UPA commits to offering a college-level, high-quality AP Exam experience, it is the responsibility of the students and families to adhere to the information below.

Day of Requirements

  1.  All test directions begin promptly at their stated start time.
If you have a morning test, getting to school and into the testing room by 7:50 AM and in your seat by 8:00 AM.  Even though the start of school has been pushed back, the AP exam time remains the same. Once the plastic is torn off the testing materials or Room Code is provided to the students, you will not be allowed to take the exam. This is AP College Board policy, and there is NO flexibility. If you are a student who is late to school often, please take this week to strategize how you will be not only on time but EARLY for your exam.  Late exams are not currently planned for this school year.

  2. No food or drinks are allowed near the exams in the exam room. Please eat something before the test.

  3. You will not be allowed to go into your backpack while the test is in session. Do not leave things in your backpack expecting to be able to get them.

  4. All electronic devices will need to be powered off and away from your testing station. Remind your friends and family that you will be in a big important test and they will not be able to contact your phone.

  5. You must remain in the testing room until the test is complete and may not leave early. Tests often run between 3-4 hours. If you have an afternoon test, please adjust your schedule for any afternoon commitments.
